In an effort to produce more isometric content, I’ve inked a few sketches I’ve had hanging around for awhile. I’ve decided to release them every so often.
I’m not sure how useful they would be in an RPG context. Perhaps to inspire locations, or to use as an illustration (as they are, like everything I do, under a Creative Commons license).
Anyway, the first edition of this series presents two isometric dioramas: a cave scene and a gate scene.

I love how evocative and still useful these are – isometric maps are fantastic for giving the GM a better ability to describe the situation for the players.
